GLOW-80: Scientific Profile
Publicado el · Actualizado el
Lyophilized blend for research use only (RUO) of four peptides, 80 mg/vial: GHK-Cu 50 mg (copper tripeptide-1), TB-500 10 mg (Thymosin β4 fragment), BPC-157 10 mg (pentadecapeptide), and KPV 10 mg (α-MSH-derived tripeptide).
GLOW is a lyophilized blend of three research peptides in fixed proportions, with 70 mg total per vial. GHK-Cu (copper tripeptide-1, Gly-His-Lys·Cu²⁺; CAS of the complex 89030-95-5, free GHK 49557-75-7), 50 mg: a modulator of gene expression (~4000 genes) that regulates the synthesis of procollagen I/III, elastin and glycosaminoglycans, acts as a cofactor of lysyl oxidase and modulates the TGF-β1/Smad2-3 pathway; it is not a direct ligand of the TGF-β receptor. BPC-157 (gastric pentadecapeptide, 15 aa, GEPPPGKPADDAGLV; CAS 137525-51-0), 10 mg: acts via the nitric oxide pathway with upregulation of VEGFR2 (angiogenesis) and a cytoprotective effect. TB-500 (Ac-LKKTETQ, N-acetylated 17-23 fragment of Thymosin β4; CAS 885340-08-9), 10 mg: a G-actin sequestrant that promotes cell migration and repair. In vitro/preclinical applications: tissue repair, angiogenesis, cell migration and extracellular matrix remodeling. Reconstitution with 3-5 mL of bacteriostatic water; store lyophilized at -20 °C and ≤30 days at 2-8 °C after reconstitution. RUO.
Mechanism of action
GLOW-80 acts through multiple synergistic mechanisms:
- Stimulation of fibroblasts: Signal peptides activate TGF-β receptors, increasing the production of procollagen I and III
- Inhibition of MMP: Fragmentos específicos bloquean metaloproteinasas (MMP-1, MMP-3) que degradan colágeno
- Copper peptides: GHK-Cu incluido activa lisil oxidasa y superóxido dismutasa, promoviendo entrecruzamiento de colágeno y defensa antioxidante
- Modulation of melanogenesis: Regulates melanin production for a more even tone
- Deep hydration: Aumenta síntesis de ácido hialurónico endógeno en la dermis
- Barrier repair: Promotes the synthesis of ceramides and epidermal lipids
Mechanism summary
GHK-Cu modulates the expression of ~4000 genes, the TGF-β1/Smad pathway and collagen/elastin synthesis (a cofactor of lysyl oxidase); BPC-157 acts via the nitric oxide pathway with upregulation of VEGFR2 (angiogenesis, cytoprotection); TB-500 sequesters G-actin and promotes cell migration and repair.
