Retatrutide + Cagrilintide: Scientific Profile

Publicado el · Actualizado el

A research blend combining retatrutide (a GIP/GLP-1/glucagon triagonist) with cagrilintide (an amylin analog). Two lyophilized reference compounds, HPLC purity with COA per batch. Exclusively for research (RUO).

Mechanism of action

This blend combines retatrutide, a triagonist that activates the GIP, GLP-1 and glucagon receptors, with cagrilintide, a long-acting amylin analog. The triagonist component provides incretin and glucagon signaling (associated with energy expenditure); the amylin component provides satiety signals and regulation of gastric emptying. As reference compounds, they are studied together to investigate the interaction of these pathways. Research material; it is not clinical or dosing guidance for humans.

Mechanism summary

Combination of an incretin triagonist (retatrutide: GIP + GLP-1 + glucagon) with an amylin analog (cagrilintide). It adds the activation of three incretin/metabolic receptors to the amylinergic satiety pathway — of interest for investigating the convergence of multiple metabolic pathways in a single experimental design.
